Item Information

All steel used shall be FloCoat galvanized, triple-coat corrosion protection. Powder coated parts
shall be painted with a dry polyester coating that shall be electrostatically applied and cured at
temperatures between 400 and 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Swing frame shall be fabricated from 13 gauge 2 3/8” O.D. top rail and legs. Wheelchair platform
shall be fabricated from 12 Gauge sheet steel that is 3⁄4” flattened and punched. Steel shall be
thermoplastic coated and oven cured.
Swing end and center fittings shall be fabricated from 7 gauge 2 7/8” O.D. flo-coated tubing
coated with powder-coated paint.
Standard swing hangers shall be stamped steel split clamp with ductile hanger and bronze
bearings. Heavy Duty Hangers (optional) shall be galvanized ductile iron with oil impregnated
bronze bearings.
Chain shall be hot dip galvanized 4/0 chain link. Material diameter is .218 inches. Nominal inside
link dimensions 1.29” x .38” with a working load limit of 670 pounds.
