Our sport panels shall be a welded 5’ x 10’ frame with one center brace and wired
with chain link fencing. The tubing to fabricate the frame shall be 1.029 O.D. x 15 gauge
galvanized steel tube. The bending strength of the tubing shall equal or exceed that of
Schedule 40 pipe. . These panels shall be covered with either 9 or 11 gauge wire held to
the frame via stainless steel clamps. The wire fence shall be attached to the frame using
1/2” wide x .020” stainless steel banding and 3/8” knuckle-knuckle. After weaving, the
fence shall be hot dipped galvanized to a zinc coating of 2 oz./sq. ft. 3/8″ aluminum rods
will flank the wire and help to increase adhesion to the frame.
The weight of the hot dipped zinc coating shall be 1.0 oz. /sq. ft. A chromate conversion
coating shall be applied to the zinc. A clear thermoplastic electro statically applied
acrylic coating shall be .5ml ± 0.1 thick.
Posts and hood supports shall be 2.375 O.D. x 13 gauge galvanized steel tube. All clamps
shall be pressed steel hot dipped galvanized, all hardware shall be zinc coated.
