The net length provides you a wider front opening to stay in compliance with the new 34.92 degree throwing sector rule. Wider area for release reduces the chance of discus hitting the front two poles. The Cantilevered poles are a rust proof maintenance free finish. Net is 18 feet 6 inch x 75 feet with 1.75 inch x 1.75 inch mesh. Rides on halyard system for quick and easy raising and lowering of net. Net bottom is attached to 2.375 inch poles with Velcro and three warning signs are attached to the net advising spectators to keep a distance of 15 feet for safety measures. Meets specifications of National Track Federation ruling Section 3 Art. 6 for high schools.
